LeadImpact Code of Conduct for Advertisers
("Advertiser Code of Conduct")
Providing all our users with an ethical and positive advertising experience is extremely important to LeadImpact. All LeadImpact advertisers must ensure that each campaign complies with the following:
- Keywords need to be relevant to the advertisement.
- Targeting the same offer or URL that is being promoted is not permitted.
- Loading pop, exit pop, and double pop advertisements are not permitted.
- Rotating landing pages must include offers that are relevant to each other and the keywords being targeted. Rotating ads are not permitted for adult or gambling sites and advertisements.
- All advertisements must be in a browser format; advertisements that restrict or block normal browser navigational controls are not allowed.
- Resizing of delivery browsers and serving full-page advertisements is not allowed.
- Advertisements with audio or video must have visible audio controls and be above the fold.
- Disclaimer language regarding giveaway type offers and landing pages that populate with the site they are targeting must be legible and above the fold. For example, the advertisement must state that it is neither sponsored by nor affiliated with the website being surveyed, and must inform the consumer if further action (offer completion, etc) is required.
- An advertisement must not be deceptive and cannot be presented as something it is not. For example, an advertisement formatted to look like a system security notice or the page that is being targeted is deceptive. The advertisement must be formatted and labeled as an advertisement.
- Advertisements promoting illegal products or illegal practices are not allowed.
- Advertisements that promote applications or software that could negatively affect any LeadImpact or Pinball Corp application or brand are not allowed. For example, adware/spyware removal programs or competitive desktop advertising software.
- Advertisements that promote "pay-for-play" gambling, either directly or indirectly, shall not be allowed in the United States, Australia, Israel, New Zealand, Singapore, or France where such advertisements are disallowed. Exceptions are gambling establishments that have been licensed by the Autorité de Régulation des Jeux En Ligne (ARJEL) in France or the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Racing and Gambling Commission in Australia.
- For "adults only" sites, all keywords must be at least two-word combinations and specifically adult in nature to prevent accidental triggering of an advertisement and ensure that the advertisement is not viewed by someone under 21 years of age.
- For "adults only" sites, as an additional protective measure, any URL targets must be formatted with a beginning period <.> and an ending period <.> (.domainname.com). For those sites that don't have www. in front of the URL string, you may add a forward slash.
- Visible genitals, sexual acts (whether explicit, implied, or obscured), and explicit sexual language are not allowed on initial landing pages.
- Advertisements that involuntarily or automatically add offers into website shopping carts are not permitted. Targeting point of sale pages is prohibited.
- Any violation of agreements between advertisers and a third party are subject to account termination.
- Attempts at illegal, malicious or fraudulent activity, including without limitation phishing or advertisements that contain any viruses, worms, Trojan horses, malware, or the like are strictly prohibited.
All advertiser content is subject to LeadImpact approval. LeadImpact reserves the right to review, request modifications to, and reject any advertisement or target at any time, at our sole discretion. We also reserve the right to de-activate any campaign not in compliance with our Advertiser Code of Conduct or if it negatively impacts our users.
