LeadImpact's software recognizes keywords and thus the context of a Web page a consumer is on while searching or browsing online. The software then looks for matches with terms that our advertisers have purchased and when a match is identified, opens a new browser window to deliver the consumer directly to the advertiser's targeted landing page. The landing page is delivered when the consumer is online and in transactional mode—not when he or she is engaged with our content (e.g. games, video, etc.), which makes LeadImpact's ad-delivery mode more timely and targeted for the consumer and the advertiser.
People download our software (e.g. Hotbar, ClickPotato) to gain free, ad-supported access to a huge library of premium Web content. LeadImpact offers access to online games, videos, screensavers and software.
LeadImpact delivers advertising in the form of Contextual Pops, which deliver interested consumers directly to your targeted landing page. When our system identifies a match between a consumer's online browsing or searching activity and one of your purchased keywords, your ad is triggered in the form of a new browser window displaying your specified landing page. This capability allows us to deliver lower ad volumes with very high conversion rates. Contextual Pops are available on a Cost per Visitor (CPV) basis.

LeadImpact advertising is priced on a Cost per View (CPV) basis. Advertisers buy individual keywords, with the price determined by the bids in our system. You are charged each time a keyword match is made and your ad is shown to a consumer. The difference between CPV and traditional search engine advertising (CPC) is that LeadImpact delivers the consumer directly to the advertiser's landing page, and you pay on that individual impression.
The specific keyword price you pay is based on a combination of the ad category, the geography in which you chose to show the ad, and what you are willing to bid. The category minimums fall between $0.015 and $0.035 per impression or view. Our keyword-bidding system allows you to choose the price you are willing to pay per Contextual Pop impression.
Since our pricing model is based on keyword bids, the amount of traffic you receive depends on how much you are bidding on each keyword. For example, if you are spending $0.02 per visitor for a keyword and your budget is $100.00, you will receive 5,000 impressions. If you increase your bid on that keyword to $0.025, you will receive 4,000 impressions for $100.00 spent.
LeadImpact users are all online consumers who have agreed to download our software (e.g. Hotbar, ClickPotato). These consumers agree up front to view a limited amount of targeted advertising in exchange for access to unlimited quality content including videos, games, screensavers and software. We generate interest among prospective new users through a variety of online advertising efforts and via a network of Web publishers who utilize our content on their Web sites. LeadImpact software is 100% opt-in and consumers can easily install or uninstall at any time.
No. LeadImpact delivers keyword-targeted ads. We do not track or collect any personally identifiable information (PII) from consumers. Targeting by age, gender or any other demographic can only be accomplished by adjusting your keyword mix. We can also geographically target (geo-target) your campaigns to specific countries, regions or states. Our keyword targeting goes beyond demographics and delivers your landing page directly to interested consumers searching or browsing online.
Our software monitors the searching and browsing activity of a consumer’s online session. For example, if an advertiser is targeting consumers searching for "shoes" and one of our users is searching for "dress shoes", our software will make a contextual match and deliver that advertiser's ad at that point.
The amount of traffic you receive depends on three things:
You're charged each time a keyword match is made and your ad (landing page) is shown to a LeadImpact consumer. You are not charged on a Cost per Click (CPC) basis, but rather on a Cost per Visitor (CPV) basis.
In order to see your Contextual Pop ad, install our software by going to http://www.hotbar.com or http://www.clickpotato.com Installing the software doesn’t guarantee that you will see your ad, but searching keywords that you have loaded for your landing page will increase the likelihood of you seeing it.
Your ad will be displayed as s a Contextual Pop unit, meaning that your landing page will be delivered in the form of a new browser window.
LeadImpact advertisements default to display at an 800 x 600 resolution size. Should you wish to discuss an alternative size, please contact us and an account specialist will assist you.

No, our ads are delivered in a new browser session. Pop-up blockers do not affect ad delivery.

You can login and finish the setup of your account if you have already verified your email address. If you did not complete that step, please check your email for a LeadImpact Account Verification email from advertiserhelp@leadimpact.com or Sign Up again.. Once your account has been activated, it takes approximately one business day for keyword approval. This process may take longer depending on the volume of new keywords awaiting approval. In order for your keywords to be available to our approval team, your account must have a positive balance and both your campaign and landing pages must be active. Note: Keywords are approved during business hours only.
We can reset your password for you. Just go to forgot password and we will send your temporary password to the e-mail address we have on file.

You can cancel your account at any time. Refunds will be given for unused funds up to 45 days from the time the funds were deposited. After 45 days, there is a 20% administration fee (see our Terms and Conditions for more information).
While we are very confident in the quality of our traffic, we cannot guarantee the performance of each individual campaign as all Web sites are different. Should you decide to cancel your account while funds are still available in your account, we will refund you the remaining balance. (see our Terms and Conditions for our refund policy).
